i don't know if everyone is aware of this, but apprently in New York State, in order to be able to vote as a registered Party member, one must be registered as an affiliate of that Party one election before the election in which one plans to vote. in other words, if someone is registered as an Independent, or just registered without an affiliation and wants to vote for a Democrat in the primaries, you gotta register as a Democrat before the next election (which, I believe, is in November), in order to be able to vote in the primaries. so, y'know, register, or reregister now.

I used to be a registered Green.

Then they deleted my party, since we didn't get 50K votes in the last gubernatorial race.

I'm deciding whether or not to register for the Democratic primary.

well, obviously i am biased, but i think no matter which candidate you'd like to see win the primary (or you'd be least displeased with) there's some good impetus to vote in these primaries; namely, joe lieberman, whom, i am convinved, the cabal is scheming to propel into candidacy. pardon the weird grammar in the previous sentence.
also, if i remember correctly, ralph nader publically endorsed or publically promised to endorse dennis kucinich.

Kucinich is a vegan, so he scores mad props there. Although I'd probably end up voting for Dean if it were close, rather like I voted for Hillary rather than the Green party nominee for Senate last election because I thought it was going to be close.

Good point about Lieberman. However, I think it's Kerry/Dean right now, with no one else even close.
