the sad thing is I have no fucking idea what's even going on in music anymore. If I was the me of 5 years ago today, I bet I'd be listening to The Faint. but I've never even heard The Faint, unless it was on somewheres and I didn't know what it was. I listen to, like, Xtina and The Clash. The only "current" indie band I listen to is quasi. I wish I had the knowledge to be a lame indie scenester. But I still wouldn't dress like this.

it's so strangely inaccurate. the faint is electroclash--the suits thing is more a reference to either ironic co-option of mainstream media, or the sort of English-Beat-Marxists punk types you got in the early '80s--so, like, way to judge an album by its cover, dude. i would be unsurprised to learn that the maker of this quiz jerks off to dave matthews.
