uh, did everyone know that next fall on NBC there is gonna be a show called "Homeland Security" starring Tom Skerritt, the description for which I just pulled up on Google, and it reads:
"Skerritt will star in the pilot for HOMELAND SECURITY. He will play a Cold War Admiral brought out of retirement to aid in setting up the Office of Homeland Security."
boy, have we moved to art (?) - imitating life - imitating art (?) etc. from hell.

yes, i knew it was old (may 2002 in the url). thought you might enjoy it as an example of "what might have been", sort of like the fact that r. reagan was once considered for part that humphrey bogart played in "casablanca".

i know you missed parts of it, but what the hell was up with that guy outside, Master of Non-Sequitors? did he join Klingrap for an outside dinner after I left? he seemed to really want to do so, he kept saying things like "it's a perfect day for dinner outside."

and i don't remember if i asked you--do you like nick cave's "murder ballads"?

and do i take from your sig that you are an elliott smith fan? or maybe i am just projecting, because i usually sign my emails that way as a reference to XO.

I LOVE, repeat, L O V E Nick Cave's Murder Ballads. I love Nick Cave and the Birthday Party and basically everything he's ever done. Have you seen him perform live????

I am a huge Elliot Smith fan, too, though the "xo" is mainly just something I've been doing forever. :)
