That's true. But then, my big conclusion about Rand when trying to read Atlas Shrugged was that she's a master equivocator. That's really her talent - to be saying contradictory things while throwing all her emotional weight behind the assertion she's straight-ahead.
I've started taking this as my first impression of actual Randians. Not, "here's a person who believes in [noun]," but, here's a person with a deeply felt need for equivocation - a deeply felt need to not be pinned down. While looking solid.
It's about as deep as reading people by their astrological signs, yes, but at least it keeps me from being all point-blank frustrated about the asinAynian libertarianism.
