Does anyone know a clothing label that's two words, a female name, Jean something beginning with a C, maybe French-sounding? I saw a pair of pants by them today in a thrifstore, they looked very classic/vintage looking, with the name monogrammed below the hip...I was going to look up the label when I got home, but forgot the second part, and for obvious reasons googling "Jean" in a fashion google search is not particularly helpful.]

Oh... sorry, I slipped out of character for a moment.

Fashion is a bourgeois institution. We should all wear matching gray jumpsuits for the revolution--or is black hoodies and tight pants with patches this season's current thing? What are they wearing at the squat's in Amsterdam? Amsterdam squats is certainly where the world will look to for fashion in the coming recession.

"Jean Poul" has such a monogramme,and the clothes are classic and a little bit vintage as you described.

Jean Patou? I don't think that's it cause I don't think they have actually made clothes (just perfume) since like the 30s...but it is the first thing that came to mind, and then it stuck there.
