actually, the bike photo has no texture--it was underwater, and I shot it from the riverbank. The only things I did was BW and levels.

Isn't it great? You can find it in Amsterdam (if it's still there), if you walk from Centraal Station to the Science Center (can't remember the name of it off the top of my head). It is off an elevated path, not far from the giant floating chinese restaurant.

ack, I don't even know when I will be in Amsterdam next. I feel like a little hampster with the spinny wheel--so busy! And mostly just stressful stuff. But hopefully things will chill out a bit soon. A friend has promised to take me to Amsterdam to do some thriftshopping--perhaps the bike will be found on that trip.
