This morning I had a dream about a snack called sulaki-mulaki. It consisted of crunchy black pieces, with texture a bit like charcoal left over after a fire. I had eaten a couple of pieces when I discovered the nature of this food: it was the bodies of dried birds, and they crunched because of bird bones and also twigs. In most cases the pieces were just shapeless lumps of crunchy black material, but in a few a bird tail or a bird paw were visible.

On the other hand, last night, I had a daydream-turned-dream about Fionn making friends with a french mole who lived under a vast green field. The mole wore a beret, and had a secret screening room underneath the field. The mole and Fionn watched Brothers Lumiere films together there.

I like the second dream better

Your dreams are like pitches for short stories. You could start a blog for people with writers block.

Actually that's not a bad idea, for a bunch of writers to start a site together to post their dreams, which others can use to turn into stories...

They eat that in China. Not sure what they call it.

for real? I know they eat sparrow nests, but there is actually a snack like in the dream? Maybe I was having a dream-memory of another life.

Yup, they eat sparrow, usually fetal. Half formed, cracked out of the egg, and then cooked. I've never seen the fetal sparrows barbequed, but they love barbequed fetal chickens.

I am wary of it, myself :)

Sienna made friends with a groundhog named Mandell a few days ago. She helped to set it free across the river. So maybe the daydream is achievable minus the French stuff and screening room.
