+ on Tuesday I drove up to New Hampshire to see Donna Martin's Boyfriend, who is in Vermont for the week. On Friday he will go back to the West Coast, and in two months I will leave the continent, and who knows when we'll see each other next, but it is so good to see one of my oldest friends, and talk about quantum physics and entanglement, and imagined acres of land run on sustainable energy sources, not to mention giraffes in the bathroom.

+ miss Pnts is here. Well, not at the moment, as today she went up to New Hampshire for the night, but her backpack is here, and today we ate Korean food and over the weekend we are going to fast. We are also going to see the Sex and the City movie. Fionn is fascinated with her tongue ring.

+ I love getting emails from friends where they tell me that it looks like next year they will be teaching in a German town two hours from where I will be living.
