Holga print from a while ago (a year ago or so?)

Also since it seems unlikely that Fionn will really learn Russian (unless he wants to when he is older), I started making a list of Russian children's books that I loved that I will want to share with him. As they are not translated into English, I will turn them into multi-part stories that I will tell night after night. I might use liverjournal to practice synopsizing them in English. The first ones I am thinking of are a series of books by a children's dystopian sci-fi writer Vladimir Krapivin, especially my two favorite novels he wrote--"Geese, Geese, Honk Honk Honk" and "Roadblock at the Anchor Field," both of which I found full texts of on the free Russian-language cyber-archives.

There's no way to use Russian with him at home part of the time? (Are you fluent?) I suppose it'd be pretty hard just doing it yourself.

Oh...this reminded me of some german children's stories that my father used to read to me. I loved them. They were so different from english ones, rather darker and I thought they were terrific. I wish I had them still!

If the boyfriend already has work lined up, maybe you could get help with a Russian babysitter? If you wanted to, of course. And there were Russian-speaking babysitters available.

I think group daycare sounds like a better idea than babysitters once the child starts reaching a social age. also who is this?
