I should mention that this Thanksgiving I drew "Cryptonomicon" during a game of charades. And I was successful.

Also we watched "Fido" which is exactly like E.T. meets "Far from Heaven" but with zombies, and all in all pretty awesome.

Also Our Lady of the Snow paid an advance visit to me, and whispered all kinds of winterwhispers into my ear.

thanks! And I don't know! Is it something with two hands at a right angle to each other? For some reason that comes to mind, but I am not sure where I am remembering that from.

I've got a Dr.'s appoitment on Wednesday, but may be in Boston for Thurs-Sunday afternoon. Next week I'm substitute teaching at my mom's daycare all week. I fninshed the books (including the Mieville). They were all wonderful!

I want to borrow the Mieville plz! You liked "Brief History"? When I read it, I was amazed at how the premise of the book was identical to my ideas about life after death when I was really little.

ok, I'll call you on saturday and we can figure out something baby-friendly depending on the weather, inside or outside. you can always come hang out in Somerville if you want, I can make food, or we can snack around here, although, sadly, the best food place in the neighbourhood burned down in a five-alarm fire last fall. or we can take the tots for a walk in the arboretum again.
