The house of my lilac dreams

I would be so happy curled up with a book there at night and waking up there in the mornings.



tomorrow departing for the annual adventure in the Catskills. I am just going for a couple of days this year, but still I must prepare the appropriate garb and find my passport stamped with the entry visa into the country of Tannersville, Municipality of Awesome, population 10-12.

sadly, no. I'd love to stay the full week, but I don't think I can handle being the sole caretaker for the baby for that long. I still can't believe you guys are courageous/insane enough to drive ON the 4th. And yes to hanging out and meeting the wee one. Come over some time before summer is over, we have a lovely porch overlooking the trash bin on one side and grape vines and a garden on the other one. It's like some weird medieval metaphoric diarama.

The house is fabulous. It makes me, even with my infinite love of gadgets and 10,000 choices at the grocery store, dream of living there and raising sheep and spinning wool from their fleece.

Yeah, internet connection would be a given...and maybe even the nifty little satellite thing so you could wander outside and play online while invoking jealousy in all your other online friends with a streaming webcame of your gorgeous house.
