honestly, in that general neck of the woods, one of my dreams was always to go to M***** asylum--have they completely demolished it yet, or is it still around? I remember seeing your pics from there, way back...

NO! I haven't and I want to terribly bad but I'm not sure exactly where it is. I need to join up with some urbex explorers around here!
And yeah, sadly, they have demolished all that is left. There are still some buildngs left that have been converted and now used for various things. Half of the place is used as a veterans home and I'm pretty sure there might be a few empty buildings over there. Not sure though because they monitor stuff pretty closely at that end.
