yeah, there was barely any graffiti (except some at the base of the screen itself), however, there was a nest of angry wasps...

That may explain it. They were the wasp-keepers, as seen on some other abandoned places. Really nice pictures, these and the hotel“s.

this is about an hour outside of Boston...I don't know the particular story behind this drive-in, just that it's one of the many that went the way of the dodo...

Very nice find - cool to see so much of the old nickle lettering still in place, and the elongated and thin architecture of the screen and ticket house.
