С Днём Победы!

I tried to find my favorite WWII song that I had to sing in Soviet Choir as a girl (Майский Вальс / May Waltz), but couldn't. So here is another favorite for May 9th.

I think I just realized that I know not much at all about your background. :)

The coincidence of that and my post from earlier today is kind of funny, then.

I use an online transliterator, rather than translator:
http://www.translit.ru/
it's pretty much phonetic, so you type the letters in English, and for the most part they correspond to Russian letters (so, a is a, n is n, etc.) For the letters that don't exist in English, there is a legend at the top, saying which key corresponds to each letter. You can enter letters by clicking the little squares in the legend, too, but mostly you just type like you would if you wanted to write russian words in English letters.

I do have a Russian keyboard option, but I don't really know the Russian keyboard layout, so that takes me forever. The translit site is much easier.

Wow, I didn't know you sang in a Soviet choir! I was a Pioneer, but I never sang in a choir :(
