these pictures (including the last post) are wonderful! what is it about the camera that gives it this effect?

thank you!

And I don't know, it's something about the way emulsion dries on this film. I think it's film, rather than the camera.

last week, on southpark, the "earth show" was about to be cancelled by aliens after the 100th episode (i'm seeing southpark for the first time now that it's in syndication). the boys go to the alien planet to plead for the extension of the "earth show." the two aliens take them out for a night of drinking and then take the boys back with them to a hotel room, where the two aliens have a hooker (also alien). while the aliens are having alien sex, the boys watch and each says "ewww!" in turn, until it's kenny's turn, who says nothing, but pulls out a camera and takes a picture. an SX70 camera, of course.

I am very sad about the discontinuing film. This camera will take another type of film, but it won't have the same effect.

And thank you. I didn't take this picture, though :)

your scarf is more colorful! This one is just black-and-red, like an anarchist zebra. Also it is rightfully my boyfriend's, I just like to borrow it a lot.

And likewise! Did you see the pics in the previous entry and more on flickr? You guys spooning in that burnt bed is too cute? Btw, does Hawver have my "normal" polaroid cam? It didn't come home with me....
how was the rest of your day/evening? Email me!

I realized later that I do in fact have your 600, I'll be handing it off to annabelle who can get it back to you. I'll also be including a new film cartridge, as I ended up using it that night at our band photo session :)

oh, was their film in there? I thought the film that was in there was film that you had bought and put in, in which case you certainly don't have to buy another cartridge...I'd love to see the photos from your cam, too!

also at this point I wouldn't spend $ on buying a camera like that, given that the film is going out of production soon. But if in the meantime you want to take some pictures and get the film, you are totally welcome to borrow my camera.
