keen.. yeah, I've been here four years. I like it.. nice mix of cultures and foods and only occasional ghetto car stereo systems with more bass and drum than a techno club.

that was something that started being casually used in conversation in the social group I used to hang out with a couple of years ago in New York, I honestly don't remember when it first arose. I think maybe universaldonor started using it on his blog a lot and that's how it memed its way into the cybersphere.

I never realized that Allende was assassinated on September 11th.

I still have terrible feelings of revenge and vitriol from that day, but it all seems so petty when I think about how that grief has been exploited for such terrible ends.
