so i moved into the manhattan loft over the weekend. plus since the girl who i thought was staying there is moving out wed. and her subletter is not moving in till friday, i can have her room which is larger and nicer and has blue fabric over the walls.
i slept 2 hours on friday night and not at all on saturday night. i went dancing at the bulgarian bar. the weekend was like a whirlpool of crazyness punctured by the trips to the touchstone of yaffa. next weekend is all about mellowly doing homework and possibly watching rented movies.
i want to see the new count of monte cristo but at the same time i am afraid to see what they might have done to one of my favorite books.
oh yeah, and no sleep for 48 hours and no food for 12 really makes you feel like you are on a powerful drug.

i've heard that the monte cristo movie butchered the book. it's all about revenge and how that's "cool". be forwarned. your mileage may vary.

you don't sound like you're taking good care of yourself. o should send someone over to take care of you for a while. beware of flu season.

well, the book is about revenge too...but it's a really interesting psychological examination of revenge and its ramifications. the book is really complex and i doubt they did it justice on the screen, it's probably more of an excuse to wave swords around and for guy pierce to get naked, which, don't get me wrong, i am all for, but still.
the brick wall stayed in the other room. i did not because that room had a leak in the ceiling. this one does not.
i am trying to take care of myself...it's just the occasional weekend that brings craziness...otherwise my life is very boring. i left the house at 11 today and now it's 9 and i am still at school....*yawn*
