Feb. 2nd, 2009 11:24 amI am unclear about the peanut butter thing: the shipment in question was flagged because it contained "filthy, putrid or decomposed substance" later identified as metal fragments. Is that in addition to salmonella, or did that cause salmonella? And if it did, how does metal cause salmonella? It seems like the descriptions would refer to a biological substance, not metal. Can someone clarify?
