As you may know there is a Nader-initiated recount underway in New Hampshire designed to serve as a litmus test. BlackBoxVoting is organizing challenged in Ohio, Florida and New Mexico. And perhaps most importantly, in Ohio, David Cobb and Michael Badnarik, the 2004 presidential candidates for the Green and Libertarian parties, announced their intentions to file a formal demand for a recount of the presidential ballots cast in Ohio. While they have already collected the required $113,600 to pay for recount, but they are aiming to reach $150,000 by 5 PM today for witnesses, volunteers, logistical support, etc. I just donated and urge everyone else to donate as well, as these people are in a legal position to demand the recount as candiates on the ballot. Alternately, you can also donate to BBV (blackboxvoting.org) or http://www.helpamericarecount.org/ for non-Ohio-specific recounting efforts. If you are donating NOTE that this is for the recount and not for campaign funds in general.
