kimi's poem

kimi just sent me this in an email. according to her it was going to be an epic but she got tired of rhyming.


Veronica was feeling quite blue,
obsessed by her love for tattoo.
but as a grad school student,
she had to be prudent -
for spending that cash was taboo.

She experimented with ink&pen
and by dating tattoo-oriented men
but the depth of her ardor
surprised a tattoo parlor
when she coerced them again & again.

The artists were frightened & scruffy
for Veronica'd been watching her buffy
and a kick to the head
'less they did what she said
had made them all nervous & huffy...
