ack, back to the grind of school after a wonderful weekend. andi was here from thursday till this morning but now she is gone :(
it was so awesome to see her and hang out and yay for both us being equally prone to lolling around the house in PJs, whiskey, and now that i have turned her to the dark side, buffy. entropy kept taking over and every time we tried to smoke we came up short one of the three items: cigarettes, lighter, ashtray. we even created a "sacred space" for those things, but alas, it did not help. we both got tattooed, which is awesome, because andi is like the perfect person to get tattooes with...plus as she put it, now whenever we see them it'll be like "oh, that time we went to get tattooed together" which is nice. she got an alchemic symbol meaning "to purify" on her hand, very pretty like an arrow going through a wave, sort of, really elegant, and i got a lotus on my lower back, in black, fuschia and dark green, actually it sort of reminds me of the tattoo-like rose i have on the white t-shirt i got at the funky monkey on new orleans, which i guess is appropriate. i am very pleased with it, except it's ouchy for the time being. we drank at the frat bar at columbia and ate dimsum in soviet-style circa-revolution place in chinatown and lots, and i do mean LOTS of bad puns were made. oh, and we know the 50 states but we suck at capitals. we also got approached by an MTV reality show scout, heh. dammit, i wish she could have stayed longer *sigh*
school persists without let up, already wrote a paper today in record time (between noon and 2 pm), have one more to write before i leave for DC on thursday...
