Did y'all get my postcards? So far I know that twotoedsloth, saintpeg and spawnsong got theirs. As did anthromama and anthropapa. And also Advisor/Chair. What about the rest?

p.s. I sent one to everyone who gave me their addresses and indicated that they wished to receive one. So if you didn't get one, it's either the fault of the postal service, or your fault.

Sounds like the meeting is back in Atlanta. Last night I had a nightmare that it was moved to Louisiana for December 4th. Not New Orleans, either, somewhere in the Bayous.

I was so excited to peek through the grill of my new little mailbox yesterday and see a postcard! I had these visions of beautiful South America... until I got the box open and realized it was one of those have You Seen Me? cards of abducted children. I'd have preferred yours, certainly, but I'm sure it'll come soon. Haven't found the kids either. :/

It also made me think of this lifetime movie "The Face on the Milk Carton" that somehow I had managed to see, like, four times, but never from the beginning, and it has a pretty confusing plot for a Lifetime Original, but last spring I finally saw it in totality and now I understand what happened.

hey! i did get your postcard! it was actually my first legitimate (ie. not addressed to "current resident") article of mail that i got since i moved in. unfortunately, unpacking and setting up is taking me a long time, so i'm awfully behind on my web-life. and daaaammnnn!! i had to set aside a 2-hour block just to catch up on your journal! :P

anyway, thanks again, and i hope to respond in turn shortly.
