Pledge of action to stop a stolen election

I remember the stolen presidential election of 2000 and I am willing to take action in 2004 if the election is stolen again. I support efforts to protect the right to vote leading up to and on Election Day, November 2nd. If that right is systematically violated, I pledge to join nationwide protests starting on November 3rd, either in my community, in the states where the fraud occurred, or in Washington DC.

Thanks for the link. I don't see any NY actions planned yet, but I'm sure it will be listed on the IMC site. I know that you have your misgivings with that place, but it sure is useful.

Also, have you seen http://votepair.com? i don't know how i feel about it -- whether it's good that at least people are trying to be smart about how they cast their vote or whether it's infuriating that people are still interested in nader at all, but i thought i'd pass it on to you regardless.

A friend of my dad's (dad is Republican, friend isn't) just sent me a Michael Moore book, which I think is pretty funny. My Republican parents cavorting with Dems and they don't even know it!
