Uh, considering the writer believes that 9-11 was an "inside job," I wonder about the credibility.

i have my doubts about that as well...however, there are a lot of people, credible people, who do believe that 9/11 was an inside job. i'm not sure i buy into the conspiracy theories...but at the same time, the government's explanation of events doesn't make much sense either.

*shrug*

it wouldn't be the first time our government either allowed or participated directly in an attack upon our country.

I'm not convinced 9/11 wasn't an inside job, at least partly. I should add, I am not nor have a ever been an aficionado of gratuitous conspiracy theories. However, the past four years have rendered the distinction between conspiracy theory and informed speculation razor thin. Nevertheless I think this one is fake. Although I think a faux attack on election day is altogether possible, this particular post... there's something about its structure, the use of language, that is setting off my "urban legend" alarm bells. Something about its overly anecdotal quality...

Well, while I am not a MIHOP (Made It Happen On Purpose), I am definitely of the LIHOP (Let It Happen On Purpose) school of thought w/r/t 9/11. It if wasn't an inside job, the administration certainly knew about it. I am not a conspiracy theorist. My point of view comes from carefully going through the 9/11 Cooperative Research timeline (http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/project.jsp?project=911_project) which is not a conspiracy theory site, nor is it an editorial piece, it is just assembled chrnology of links to various items in the press, starts from the early 1990s and continuing through 9/11. If you have time I recommend looking through it, either by subject, or at the summer of 2001, and the day of 9/11 which has its own timeline featuring a lot of things that seem to have gone down the memory hole of the press.

Who will be involved in this alleged training? Maybe we should be glad that people who are extra-excited about anti-terrorism training will be occupied on Election Day...
