i spent 4 hours yesterday and 4 hours today writing.
also i like my new teacher. he tell me guatemalan jokes, i tell him russian ones.
it's odd that now i can half-way discuss politics etc. in spanish, but am still totally lost when it comes to conversation about kitchen stuff, etc. guess that contributes to my mom's theory that i will make a shitty wife, in her definition at least.

do you preface russion jokes in spanish? also to note: hard to even name things in ones own native language in the kitchen. re: shitty wife, that avoiding-the-use-of-the-word-commune thing we need to look into. then no one needs to be a wife. *wink wink* so i have decided to make my blobby tv sessions into something semiproductive, and now if i need to sit down for a break, i write some story involving as many as the products that i encounter on tv that i can muster. STILL looking for jobs, and putting to much pressure on myself for everything such that i can't move, so i'm trying to loosen up. when are you getting back? and think i might have flexible job that will let me get my ass up to nyc this fall. weeehaw.

don't stress, i know it's easier said than done, but stress is like a self-fulfilling prophecy, esp. in situations when we have no control, i.e. it's not your fault that economy sucks and job industry sucks and that we have a simian president. i think i might get back on teh 19th to have enough time to find an apt...i preface russian jokes with some explanations sometimes...but for the most part they are received better than in the US. all of a sudden it's tense to be here. there was a nation wide strike and demonstration yesterday and in a city nearby police took machetes to the crowd and the crown set a policeman on fire, and people died, and there are miliarty heliopters flying around all day...not very cheerful...flexible job yay! so are things over with you and corydon or just on the back back burner?
oh yeah and word about the wife thing (no pun intended), since i never plan to be one, who cares what kind i would make?
