Oh, I wish you all could have seen the wall of moss, and the frayed curtains filtering the dusty sunlight, the creaking stairs, and the raindrops from the ceilings, and the trapped wind responding to the unnatural geometry of rooms and corridors with howls and grunt.

Pictures soon.

But now hot tea and to watch more "Mad Men."

My partner in crime and I were checking out a pretty sweet burnt out Victorian church in the middle of some 1980s housing estates in Docklands last week, and I totally thought of you.

Now there's a teaser.

word of mouth from other people who enjoy the same activities, research...in the US sometimes just driving around in places where industries went bust, but I haven't done that here because I don't really know where to look so generally yet, and also because I am still mastering the stickshift.

I have been in a purely consumptive and pre-analytical mode so far I think, but actually reading your thoughts on movies always inspires me to analysis.

so far I think it's verite of the symbolic universe of that era that we didn't even know we had, but that we recognize immediately.

Was it really an insane asylum? That adds a certain something, doesn't it?!
