i am back from russia.
a more detailed entry on that will follow. i am still in shock.

in other big news, i finished my novel. can't really believe it, but looks like a novel, and feels like a novel, so i guess i wrote a novel. huh.

yes, the life expectancy among men in russia is comparable to many third-world countries, something like 54 years. alcoholism, lung cancer, TB, etc.

will you be publishing your novel online, or send it to the traditional publishers?

life expectancy among everyone is russia is not so high. this is exhacerbated by the health care system from hell. when my grandmother broke her hipbone, the ER came, took a look at her and said that they don't take people over 80 to the hospital. like what the fuck, are they supposed to just die at home?

i am going to try to get it published traditionally. find an agent and all.

i think my novel is about the human incapacity to love as modern condition. it sounds pretentious, but it's true. it's also about brooklyn and wasting potential, among other things.

i have that option checked. it used to send replies to my email account, and then it stopped. i don't know what happenned :(
