lapsedmodernistso, so, so much stuff to do.
both FLAS application nd pre-dissertation summer funding applications are due this week, as is the final signed-off-on draft of the Ph.D. proposal, while i can't work out the logistics or budgets for the summer grants because of these insane problems of the lack of the language programs that i need, and it's all giving me this localized headache.
wow, weird. just turned my head and could have sworn i saw my friend diana at the copiers. which is of course impossible since she is in the peace corps in Mali. great. now i am hallucinating.
also, i am, right now, reading foucault's "discipline and punish" in the NYU library that is a perfect exemplar of a panopticum. like, seriously. ten glass floors centered around the main space, perfect for surveillance, with administrative offices on top.
