I hate my unconscious

lapsedmodernistLast night I had a dream about The Picture of Dorian Greyhound (dog).
And in the dream I was trying to remember if it had been a New Yorker cartoon.
And when I woke up I still couldn't remember if this had been an actual New Yorker cartoon, or if it just would be such a paint-by-numbers New Yorker cartoon that my unconscious processed it as such.
