Dean + Britta
Mar. 9th, 2007 11:48 pmWere awesome.
They played a couple of Galaxy 500 songs, a few Luna songs (including "Bewitched" and "Chinatown"), Britta Phillips sang my favorite song from L'Avventura, "Knives from Bavaria" (the song that feels like falling in love, or maybe the song that falling in love sounds like), and they did the "Night Nurse" duet, yay. AND, when they came out for the encore, I turned to
apropos and said, "I guess it would be too much to hope that they will do Bonnie & Clyde," but guess what the closing song was.
The songs from the new album are less sultry than the ones on L'Avventura, and more, like, captions to a psychedelic coloring book for children.
Dean Wareham is hot.
Also, I need to go to more concerts. This is the first show I've been to since the Legendary Pink Dots show in June.
That is all.
