thinking about things esoteric, mainly. Pondering my "aletheia" tatto w/r/t to certain epistemological internal angst about truth and purpose etc.
Heidegger argues that the original essence of truth is aletheia, the clearing of the unconcealment of Being and that, which sustains Being. Aletheia is a coming to presence such that that-being and what-being
occur at the same time. The history of metaphysics is founded on the separation of that-being and what-being or of Being and Becoming. The culmination of metaphysics occurs when this opposition is overcome, specifically when Nietzsche inverts Platonism and makes Becoming into
the "vital"[N3, p172] sphere. However, in Nietzsche's philosophy there it is only an illusion that Being and Becoming return to an original unity.
