weird digital nostalgia

it's very weird...jeremy said today that both of the phone numbers he had for me in his cell phone were out of date--b/c they were the numbers for my old greenpoint apartment and my cell phone that died such a gloryless death when it fell into the toilet at dave's party in october. but it made me nostalgic for when i had those phone numbers. isn't that weird? i mean, maybe i felt a little nostalgic for how i felt when i first moved to new york, so unbelievably excited, but that does not really work because i wake up as excited about living in new york as i did my first night here (which is unusual for me since i get so restless so quickly). i dunno, maybe i just miss my old apartment. or i miss living in north brooklyn. who knows.
