u michigan sucks because they host HRAF, the human resources area files database which is a comprehensive collection of all ethnographic work pretty muche ver done which can be cross-searched by area and topic, and should really be public knowledge, and instead they sit on it like evil trolls under the bridge and my university is not subscribed to it because they think it's colonial or someting.
let's see, a top anthropology department. should not it have access to THE MOST COMPLETE DATABASE of cultural ethnographies IN THE WORLD?
oh yeah, that's right, i am using logic, should not i know better by now?
blah blah. i'm goign to new haven for the weekend so i will check yale's server, maybe i can access it from there.
