Artist needed

Okay, I know there are are talented artists or people who know talented artists in New York on my friends list.

Deep Dish TV, a non-profit grassroots satellite network needs an artist who is good at graphic design to put together DVD cover art and promotional posters for our new series, Shocking and Awful, a twelve-part program on the war with Iraq, the occupation, and the grassroots response to the occupation. The program will be aired on Free Speech TV and on various other media outlets across the country. This is not a paying job, since it's essentially a volunteer-run enterprise, but if you are politically inclined it's a great way to contribute to an important project and a good way to showcase your talent. I will ask, but I think it would help if they were in New York, so that they could come into the office and have a look at the stuff and work on it there.

I think at the moment we are trying to find someone locally, but if that doesn't happen I may take you up on your idea.
