I hate my unconscious

Last night I had a dream about The Picture of Dorian Greyhound (dog).

And in the dream I was trying to remember if it had been a New Yorker cartoon.

And when I woke up I still couldn't remember if this had been an actual New Yorker cartoon, or if it just would be such a paint-by-numbers New Yorker cartoon that my unconscious processed it as such.

Who is she?

Jane Pauley was the long-time morning broadcaster for NBC's Today Show and was a co-host for NBC's popular news magazine Dateline. She has also hosted her own daytime talk show. Jane is married to Doonesbury cartoonist Gary Trudeau. Interestingly, she has "come out of the closet" of late as a Manic-Depressive.

My comment was in reference to her husband. I'm rather peculiar in an odd, 6-Degree Way.
